Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and support the patient experience in a busy radiology department.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 1 year of radiology experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS. This on-site role offers competitive hourly pay with shift differentials androbust education benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, plus BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, maintaining ALARA standards.
• Prepare and position patients; screen for contraindications and verify orders.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care to patients; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
• Support department workflow, keep areas clean and stocked, and assist in emergencies.
