Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital seeks a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality CT imaging and support a positive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, maintain imaging standards, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam.

The ideal candidate has ARRT CT/R radiography credentials, radiology experience, and BLS certification, with a commitment to quality care. This role is based at Cobb Hospital with a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT credentials required at minimum.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adhere to ALARA principles.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain comfort, privacy and safety.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and manage supplies and room readiness.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department workflow.

High School Diploma or equivalent

ARRT-R (Radiography)

ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography

BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
