Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience within the Radiology team.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year of Radiology experience with ARRT CT certification or willingness to obtain. BLS is required. Join a team that values compassionate care and professional growth.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology preferred or required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification preferred or required.
• ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography certification preferred or required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA principle.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Review images for diagnostic quality; repeat as needed.
• Document results in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and assist in emergencies.

Formação académica

High School Diploma or equivalent
