Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a comforting patient experience on the day shift. Technologists contribute to a collaborative care team and uphold imaging standards while prioritizing patient safety and efficiency.

Required are ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certifications, plus a High School diploma and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum 1 year radiology experience is expected, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose to patients.
• Clean, disinfect, and prep rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers; explain procedures and prep patients to reduce anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and complete accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, assist in emergencies, support department workflow and compliance.
