Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology preferred.
• ARRT-R certification required.
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely.
• Maintain infection control and restock as needed.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders; use two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions using AIDET.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during visits.
• Administer contrast with proper venipuncture technique.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality; repeat if necessary.
• Document findings and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies.
• Support department workflow and compliance, and escalate issues.
