Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to provide high-quality imaging and a compassionate patient experience. You will join a collaborative radiology team at Cobb Hospital, delivering CT procedures and ensuring safety and efficiency throughout patient visits.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certifications, and BLS.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications; BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose levels.
Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly using AIDET; address questions to reduce patient anxiety.
Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with restocking life-support equipment.
Organize daily workflows to meet timeframes and support department flow.
