Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and support a patient‑centered experience. You will join a collaborative radiology team in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires ARRT-R certification, CT certification, and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with BLS certification. Expect responsibilities from patient prep to image finalization in RIS/PACS and adherence to ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology is preferred.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) or equivalent certification is required.
• ARRT-CT certification is required or must be obtained.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Capture high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques for diagnostic quality.
• Disinfect and prepare rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients and address questions.
