Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital, Cobb County, Georgia, is seeking a CT Technologist to provide high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will join a collaborative care team and perform CT procedures with attention to safety and diagnostic quality.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, completion of a radiologic technology program, and a minimum of 1 year radiology experience. The role emphasizes patient comfort, infection control, and teamwork within Wellstar’s radiology

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA; adjust techniques for diagnostic quality.
• Maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and reduce patient anxiety using AIDET.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol, including venipuncture as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; assist with crash cart readiness.
• Organize daily workflows to support department flow and compliance.
