Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience in a fast-paced radiology department. You will perform CT exams, ensure safe, accurate procedures, and collaborate with technologists and physicians to uphold patient care standards.

Required: radiologic technology education, ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS; minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program and hold ARRT-R certification.
• ARRT-CT certification and BLS credential are required.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred; strong patient communication and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
• Prepare and position patients, verify identity, and explain procedures using AIDET.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and manage equipment cleanings and restocking.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; assist with contrast administration as protocol.
• Collaborate with team to maintain department workflow and compliance.
