Job summary

The CT Technologist at Cobb Hospital delivers safe, high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience within Wellstar’s collaborative care team.

This full‑time, 40‑hour weekday day shift offers a sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible candidates, with competitive hourly pay and shift differential.

You will perform CT procedures per department guidelines, support infection control, document in RIS/PACS, and help maintain patient comfort, safety and diagnostic quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines to capture diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders; identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Complete documentation and ensure studies are finalized in RIS/PACS.
