Job summary

WellStar is hiring a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at Cobb Hospital. This full‑time role features a 40‑hour weekday day shift with sign‑on bonus eligibility and relocation support for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: 1 year in Radiology required.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
• Proactive patient care and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, applying ALARA to minimize dose.
• Maintain clean rooms, report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and verify patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures clearly using AIDET; ease patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol and use proper venipuncture technique.
• Position patients and apply markers and shielding as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and repeat if needed.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS and coordinate transfers.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock equipment.
• Support department flow and comply with regulatory requirements.
