Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure diagnostic image quality, and maintain patient safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT radiography and CT certifications are required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Prepare, disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/ Retrieval as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock crash cart and life-support equipment as required.
• Collaborate with technologists to support department workflow and regulatory compliance.
