Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist to join the FSED team. You will perform CT exams, prep patients, ensure radiation safety, obtain history, and assist radiologists with contrast and procedures in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications include State Registered Radiologic Technician and ARRT registration, an Associate Degree, and BCLS within 30 days. This is an at-our-FSED role with opportunities for growth within the HCA Healthcare network.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification or ACLS as required within 30 days of employment
• State Registered Radiologic Technician credential
• ARRT Registered Radiographer credential
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
• In charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
• Utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
• Obtain patient history and collaborate with Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
• Responsible for post processing of data.
• Assist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
• Assist during codes.
