Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist to join its team in the FSED setting. You will ensure proper exam protocols, patient preparation, and safety measures while collaborating with Radiology staff to optimize contrast use and imaging quality.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification with an associate degree and are able to support invasive procedures and emergency codes, contributing to high-quality patient care at a leading Dallas hospital.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician credential required.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) credential required.
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of all CT exam protocols for specific exams.
• In charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
• Utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
• Obtain patient history and collaborate with Radiologist on contrast usage.
• Responsible for post-processing of data.
• Assist the physician during invasive procedures to ensure patient care.
• Assist during codes.
