Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of the HCA Healthcare family, seeks a CT Technologist for a PRN role at the Garland FSED. You will perform CT exams, ensure patient instructions, and follow radiation safety protocols while supporting Radiologists with contrast decisions.

The position requires ARRT registration, state licensure, and BCLS, with opportunity to contribute to a large tertiary care team and access comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician credential required.
• ARRT-registered radiographer credential required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
• In charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
• Utilize radiation protection methods and shielding as necessary.
• Obtain patient history and collaborate with Radiologist on contrast usage.
• Responsible for post-processing of data.
• Assist physician during invasive procedures to support patient care.
• Assist during codes.
