Medical City Dallas CT department is seeking a CT Technologist to join our FSED team. You will perform CT examinations, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists on contrast use.

Required credentials include ARRT Radiographer and State Registered Radiologic Technician with an Associate Degree. This is an FSED assignment with opportunities for growth and continued education assistance.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of CAT Scan exam protocols and patient preparation.
• Proficiency in radiation safety and shielding practices.
• Ability to obtain patient history and collaborate with Radiologist on contrast usage.
• Experience in post-processing of imaging data.
• Ability to assist physicians during invasive procedures and codes.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrate knowledge of all CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
• Be in charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
• Utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
• Obtain patient history and collaborate with the Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
• Be responsible for the post processing of data.
• Assist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
• Assist during codes.
