Job summary

MetroHealth System in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and help coordinate patient flow for inpatients and outpatients.

The role requires ARRT registration, Ohio radiography licensure, and BLS certification; clinical excellence, teamwork and the ability to function under pressure are essential in a high-volume trauma environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.
• Preferred: ARRT CT certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Work with CT staff, Nurses, Physicians and care team throughout the hospital.
