Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Northeast Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to join our radiology team. The role includes CT imaging, assisting with CT-guided procedures, patient education, and coordination of inpatient/outpatient scheduling.

Required credentials include ARRT registration and Ohio radiographer license, with CT credential within one year; BLS is required. This is a night-shift, full-time position with benefits and a comprehensive on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT (CT credential preferred).
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within 1 year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in various settings.
• Assist radiologists and nursing staff during CT procedures.
• Perform CT-guided procedures (biopsies, drain placements, tumor ablations).
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
