Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging for diverse patient populations. The role includes supporting CT-guided procedures, maintaining patient comfort, and collaborating with radiology staff.

The ideal candidate is ARRT-CT credentialed, ARRT radiography certified, and licensed in Ohio with BLS. This full-time night-shift position offers growth and dedicated teamwork within a Level One Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT registered radiology technologist.
• ARRT CT credential within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Operate with on-the-spot critical thinking and in a team-based environment.
• Work closely with CT staff, nurses, physicians and other care team members.
