Wellstar Cobb Hospital seeks a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience on a 36-hour night shift. You will work within a collaborative team, ensuring timely studies and compassionate patient care.

The role requires ALARA adherence, independent operation of CT equipment, and clear communication with the care team to optimize patient comfort and safety during exams.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality at lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers; explain procedures using AIDET.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Administer contrast per protocol; perform venipuncture when applicable.
• Position patients, apply markers and shields; review images for diagnostic acceptability.
• Document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/retrievals as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and restock life-support equipment as required.
• Organize daily workflows and support department operations and compliance.
