Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience on a 36‑hour night shift. You will perform CT exams, follow ALARA principles, and work with a collaborative care team to meet department goals.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 1 year in Radiology, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completed accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, maintaining ALARA principles.
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures using AIDET, and ensure patient comfort.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Assist with infection control, equipment maintenance, and daily workflow coordination.
