Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience on a 36-hour night shift. You will work within a collaborative care team to ensure safe, efficient CT exams.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, 1 year radiology experience, and ARRT certifications (Radiography and Computed Tomography), plus BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines to capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and minimize patient dose according to ALARA.
• Maintain infection control and clean/determine equipment readiness.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Complete documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
