Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join the night shift. The role focuses on producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You will collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and therapists, schedule radiology for inpatients and outpatients, and maintain ARRT certification and Ohio licensure. Start time 7 pm to 7 am, with every-other Sunday weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT; CT credential or obtain within one year.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) and BLS or obtaining within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and perform CT imaging procedures.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Schedule and coordinate imaging for inpatients and outpatients.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and care team to provide quality care.
