Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join the night shift. The role involves producing CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient flow for inpatients and outpatients.

Certified radiologic technologists with ARRT CT credential within one year and an Ohio Radiographer License are required. BLS certification should be obtained during probation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT; CT credential within one year.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
