Job summary

UAB Medicine is expanding its Emergency Department in Alabama and seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures under radiologist supervision. You will work in a high-volume, state-of-the-art ED with advanced imaging equipment and a focus on rapid, accurate CT imaging.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiology program, ARRT RT certification, and within one year to obtain CT certification; Nuclear Medicine credentials are acceptable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology.
• Registered RT(R) with ARRT; one year to become CT-registered.
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification accepted if CT certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures under radiologist and CT supervisor guidance.
• Render prescribed CT procedures with independent judgment and initiative.
