Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT registration is required at hire.
• BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 3 years CT technologist experience.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety.
• IV competency within 90 days.
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred in Colorado.
• Facility-based certifications may be required per facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and exam prep.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain safety.
• Complete studies within department time expectations.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with staff.
• Stay updated with CT technology and protocols.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology staff.
