Qualifications

• BLS certification within 60 days; state licensure required.
• IV competency within 90 days; fluoroscopy certification preferred in CO.
• 3+ years CT technologist experience for Level II; 1-2 years for Level I.
• Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety.

Responsabilités

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure quality image production.
• Ensure patient identification, order verification, and exam prep.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Coordinate care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated on CT technology and participate in CE activities.
• Instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols.
