Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Good Samaritan Hospital team in Lafayette, Colorado. The role focuses on operating CT equipment, ensuring image quality, and maintaining patient safety and comfort across a 36-hour workweek with three 12-hour shifts.

The position requires ARRT CT certification, BLS, state licensure, IV competency, and a commitment to ongoing education in radiologic technology. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT certification upon hire or currently certified.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Licensure in state of practice as applicable.
• IV competency within 90 days.
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred for Colorado roles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure patient identification, order verification, and patient prep.
• Perform CT exams per department protocol and review images for quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address patient/family concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated with CT technology and participate in continuing education.
• Instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols and positioning.
