Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT registration required on hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days, required.
• State licensure in practice state at hire.
• 1–2 years CT experience preferred.
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred in CO.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical CT functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems for quality images.
• Verify patient identity and prepare the patient for exams.
• Perform CT exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy, ensuring coverage of anatomy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address patient/family concerns.
• Coordinate care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated on CT tech advancements through education.
