Qualifications

• Active ARRT CT certification required, Level II preferred.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Colorado state licensure upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions of the job.
• Understand and operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review and evaluate images for quality, ensuring all structures are captured.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated with CT advancements and participate in continuing education.
• Instruct students and other technologists in protocols and positioning.
