Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT certification required or at hire
• BLS certification within 60 days required
• IV competency within 90 days required
• Knowledge of radiology safety and cross-sectional anatomy
• Experience with CT equipment and imaging protocols preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines
• Complete studies within expected timeframes without compromising care
• Provide patient education and address concerns
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers
• Stay updated with advancements through continual education
• Instruct students and radiology staff in protocols and positioning
