Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado is seeking a CT Technologist with Level II qualifications to join a 36-hour weekly schedule. You will operate CT equipment, verify patient details, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining safety protocols.

The role requires ARRT CT registration, BLS, state licensure, IV competency, and several years of CT experience. You will work in a dynamic team devoted to compassionate care and continuous education.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT registration upon hire is required.
• BLS certification within 60 days is required.
• State licensure as applicable upon hire is required.
• IV competency within 90 days is required.
• Level II requires 3+ years CT technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in CT.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines.
• Complete studies within department timeframes without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care with other providers.
• Stay updated on CT technology and techniques.
• Instruct students and other radiology staff.
