Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and prepare for exams.
• Perform CT exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy, capturing required anatomy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department timelines without compromising care.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay current with CT tech advances via continuing education.
• Instruct students and radiology staff in protocols and positioning.
