Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist for Columbia County Medical Center Hospital in Georgia. The role supports safe, high-quality imaging and patient care within a collaborative team.

Requirements include an accredited radiologic program, ARRT CT and radiography credentials, BLS, and at least 1 year radiology experience. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available, with a PTO and career development program.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT-CT certification required
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification and BLS required

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain image quality
• Operate imaging equipment independently while following ALARA principles
• Clean, disinfect and maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with unique patient identifiers
• Explain procedures and prep to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout the visit
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol using sterile technique
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and reimage if needed
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/retrievals
