Job summary

Wellstar Columbia County Medical Center Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality CT imaging and provide a compassionate patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure accurate documentation in RIS/PACS while maintaining patient safety.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers prior to exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and ensure proper transfers.
