Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist for Columbia County Medical Center Hospital in Georgia. You will perform CT procedures, deliver high-quality imaging, and provide a supportive patient experience within a collaborative care team.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
• ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certifications; BLS required

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently and maintain ALARA to minimize dose.
• Disinfect, clean, and prepare rooms and equipment per infection control schedules; report issues promptly.
• Verify orders and two patient identifiers before any exam.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address patient questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety with age-appropriate care.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol with proper venipuncture technique.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and repeat if needed.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and finalize them correctly.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock life-support equipment as required.
• Organize daily workflows to meet timeframes; collaborate to support department flow.
• Support operations, keep areas orderly, and escalate issues to supervisor.
