Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure safety, verify orders, and maintain infection control standards in Cobb Hospital.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (American Heart Association)

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and minimize dose (ALARA).
• Maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules and report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and post-care using AIDET; reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol using venipuncture and sterile technique when applicable.
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock life-support equipment as required.
• Organize daily workflows and support department flow; handle charging/clerical tasks and regulatory compliance.

Educación

High School Diploma or equivalent
