Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and apply ALARA principles to minimize dose.
• Disinfect, clean, and maintain rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and two unique patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and reduce patient anxiety using AIDET; ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and document findings in RIS/PACS.
• Support department workflow, keep areas stocked, and coordinate with staff and supervisor.
