Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will join a collaborative care team and perform CT procedures per department guidelines, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and ARRT credentials with CT endorsement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and two unique patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety with age‑appropriate care.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies and crash cart.
• Organize daily workflows and support department operations.
