Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist (PRN) in Garland to join our radiology team. The role requires CT protocol knowledge, patient preparation, and coordination with Radiology on contrast use.

Position is PRN within the FSED setting. Candidates should hold ARRT Radiographer certification, be State-registered, and have an Associate Degree. BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician credential.
• ARRT Radiographer certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of CT exam protocols.
• Prep exams and instruct patients.
• Apply radiation protection and shielding as needed.
• Obtain patient history and consult Radiologist on contrast usage.
• Post-process data.
• Assist physician during invasive procedures as needed.
• Assist during codes.
