UAB Medicine is expanding its Emergency Department at UAB Hospital in Alabama and seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT. The role operates under a radiologist and CT supervisor, performing CT procedures with independence and clinical judgment.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT RT(R) registration (or NMTCB), CT designation within 1 year, and BLS certification. Full-time shifts include 7 a.m.–7 p.m.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Radiography program accredited by ARRT/NMTCB standards.
• One year of general radiography experience preferred.
• Currently registered RT(R) with ARRT or NMTCB; CT designation within 1 year; BLS required or obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures under the direction of a radiologist and CT supervisor.
• Provide procedures with independent judgment and initiative to render prescribed CT work.
• Uphold safety, quality, and patient care standards during imaging.

ARRT RT(R) registration or NMTCB certification

BLS certification

CT designation (within 1 year)
