Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience.

You will perform CT procedures, maintain ALARA standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program are required, with at least 1 year Radiology experience and ARRT certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and two unique patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety with age-appropriate care.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol using sterile technique when applicable.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with crash cart readiness.
• Organize daily workflows to support department flow and compliance.
