Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and a compassionate patient experience. Perform CT procedures, maintain ALARA standards, and support a collaborative radiology team in a busy hospital setting.

Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, one year radiology experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT credentials, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques for quality at ALARA dose.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET; address questions.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Administer contrast per protocol and venipuncture when needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize in RIS/PACS.
• Maintain rooms/equipment and support infection control schedules.
• Support department workflow and comply with regulatory requirements.
