Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is hiring a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging and patient care. You will work within a collaborative radiology team, performing procedures, ensuring safety, and communicating effectively with patients.

The role requires ARRT-CT and ARRT-R credentials, BLS, and at least one year in radiology. A full-time schedule with a 36-hour weekday day shift is offered, along with benefits and education opportunities.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R certification required.
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality with ALARA principles.
• Maintain infection control; clean, disinfect and restock rooms and equipment.
• Verify orders and two patient identifiers prior to each exam.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address patient questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol using venipuncture and sterile technique when applicable.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and release patients after finalizing studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support lifecycle of equipment and crash carts.
• Organize daily workflows to support department efficiency and cross-team collaboration.
