Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality CT imaging and provide a supportive patient experience. You will work within a collaborative radiology team to ensure accurate studies and patient care.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT licensure and at least 1 year of radiology experience. A strong focus on patient comfort and ALARA principles is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography)
• ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA principles.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and complete accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.
