Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to join the CT team in the Radiology Department. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Required qualifications include ARRT registration, CT credential within one year, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS. The position offers a 4x10 schedule, day/evening shifts, and on-call duties as part of a dedicated imaging team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
