Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technician to join the Radiology team in Cleveland. The role focuses on producing high-quality CT images, supporting CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient flow for inpatients and outpatients in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Ideal candidates are ARRT-credentialed radiologic technologists with Ohio licensure and BLS. Cross-training is available, with a sign-on bonus for external applicants and opportunities in a Level One Trauma Center environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT Team.
