Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH is hiring a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. The role requires a Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registration, OH Radiographer license, and CT credential within 1 year.

Biweekly 80 hours, 4x10 hr shifts, days/evenings, 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with on-call and every 4th Sunday. Expect to perform CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, IV starts, patient scheduling, and education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT (Radiology).
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) valid.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Perform IV starts and patient monitoring during procedures.
• Schedule patients—inpatients and outpatients, coordinating with care teams.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment and exam.
• Communicate effectively and work well under stress within the CT team.
