Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department. The role includes producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT RT and CT credentials, an Ohio Radiographer License, and BLS certification. The position requires strong anatomy knowledge, critical thinking, and excellent communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the ARRT (RT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images across neuro, MSK, abdominothoracic and cardiac regions.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examinations to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Maintain effective communication with nurses, physicians and care teams; work independently and in CT team settings.
