Job summary

MetroHealth radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient flow within the department. You will educate patients about procedures and work closely with radiologists and nurses to ensure safety and accuracy.

Qualifications include ARRT registration, CT credential within 12 months, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS. Cross-training opportunities and a sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Work with CT team and other care staff to ensure safe, accurate imaging and patient care.
